Vossloh not only supplies pioneering technologies for virtually all aspects of maintenance, but also, on request, takes on full or partial plant management as a full-service provider – from determining requirements, preparing tenders, monitoring orders, and documentation, including all preventive and corrective maintenance measures, with full budget responsibility. Professional inspection of switches and rails is just one of many components of this service offering. Vossloh supports infrastructure managers in all areas – from complex repair work and the replacement of large components to determining the development of condition and intrinsic value. With the right maintenance concept, the best possible condition of tracks and turnouts is achieved in the most efficient way with the availability defined in the agreement.

If necessary, Vossloh is also available as a temporary service partner – for example, if a subway or mainline operator only wants to flexibly compensate for temporary capacity bottlenecks.

Focus on switch systems

At the Vossloh Switch Systems training center in Reichshoffen, France, all users are provided with comprehensive knowledge about products and their application, basic operating principles, and processes. This promotes an exemplary maintenance culture and helps to ensure that appropriate individual and operationally relevant skills are available in all areas where product inspections are carried out.

Training courses:

Introduction: Trades, applications and catalogue – for trainees of all levels and more particularly for non-technical profiles.
Basic: An introduction to products, how they are made up and how they operate in various applications – for trainees of all levels and as a first-step technical training.
Advanced: Knowledge of products, how they are made up, how to operate and maintain them, how to perform diagnostics on them and how to manage operating incidents – for operating personnel, maintenance team leaders, training personnel, etc.
Expert Training Sessions: Providing more details about and validating the master of products in actual operating situations on networks – supplement the advanced training courses.
